I am grateful to be part of the recently held training on Defensive Driving refresher course organized by the Quantum Group. The training which was facilitated by Rhema Driving School is a laudable initiative and I want to take this opportunity to thank the HR department for this feat. The training which touched a lot of important areas, such as: Importance of defensive driving, key principles of defensive driving, Hazard management on the roads, Vehicle safety and maintenance, Road signs, First aids and the general Rules and regulations governing driving on our roads, are necessary for drivers, especially those of us privileged to be assigned company vehicles. The training gave us a sense of responsibility as company drivers to be responsible defensive drivers on the roads, ensuring our safety, the safety of other road users and how to take care and maintain vehicles assigned to us by the company. Also the knowledge and expertise exhibited by the training facilitators was encouraging and embolden us to also go out there and educate our peers, colleagues and other road users, to make our roads a safe driving space for us all.

The professionalism and expertise of their instructors and staff has truly boosted my confidence on the road and helped me pass my driving tests smoothly. They have a comprehensive structure that covers the entire DVLA syllabus and includes several mock tests and practical sessions to make you very conversant with the road safety regulations and highway codes of Ghana. In the end, you are not only cooked to ace all test, but to exhibit professionalism on the road as a confident and defensive driver. They are excellently trained teachers and very calm. Just who you want to help you reach your driving journey goals. If you can pick General as an instructor, I recommend you do so. He was patient and willing to go above and beyond to ensure I knew all I needed for my driving exam. Not to talk of the secretary Vera, she was very polite and involved me in every decision she takes on my lessons to make sure I’m okay with that. I am given Rhema 5stars and this is the first time I am ever giving maximum stars. First of all I am a pro in driving now after just 6weeks of lessons with Rhema driving school. Been born and raised in Ghana, I find it very frustrating how we put minimal effort in our customer service. Contact a company or person for a service and they will treat you like it’s a favour which is why Vera( the front desk lady) really caught my attention with her extra ordinary customer service. I called 4 different driving schools and Rhema happen to be the last school I called and I must say it was refreshing to hear VERA on the other side of the phone. Vera is the most patient, caring and respectful front desk lady I have ever dealt with. She took her time to explain all services and also proceeded to address all my questions without rushing the conversation. Fast forward to when I started my first theory class, everyone around was so friendly I felt at home immediately. The first instructor that cause my attention was GENERAL, why ? Because of his exceptional teaching skills in the classroom. And also he is so relatable that I couldn’t wait to go for classes everyday. General’s theory class session was very relaxing and informative. He is very patient and gives every student the chance to ask questions or contribute. On the field for practicals was my favorite part of the day. Throughout the years I never thought of learning how to drive because I wasn’t confident and also too scared however, with General in the car with me, I was the most confident person.
